Feasibility study for the restauration of fish and sediment migration of an existing hydropower plant

HYDREOLE carried out a feasibility study to restore the ecological continuity of an existing hydropower plant. The plant operator received a formal notice to perform the necessary work to restore fish and sediment migration as soon as possible. Different scenarios were compared (fish ladder vs. bypass river and macro-roughness ramp, inclined vs. oriented trashrack, etc.), all scenario beeing in full compliance with the OFB’s recommandation.
