Penstock’s due diligence of a hydropower plant

Following the acquisition of a hydropower plant , HYDREOLE carried out an assessment of the penstock to evaluate whether replacement was necessary. As part of this assignment, HYDREOLE:
– Verified the integrity of the penstock’s civil structures
– Measured the thickness of the penstock along its entire length (approximately 1’600 m)
– Identified and located visible leaks
– Verified the pressure resistance of the penstock, including transiant analysis and maximum overpressure
