Francis turbine replacement by a Kaplan, with more than doubled nominal flowrate

Detailed feasibility study of the replacement of and old Francis turbine as the nominal flowrate is increased from 1.2 to 2.7 m3/s: existing components expertise (to be replaced or only refurbished), detailed comparison of the various scenarios (replacement by a simple or double Francis, by a propeller of a simple/double regulated Kaplan).
